Picked up from the airport, straight into the ferry and to my resort. No issues whatsoever
It’s a tiny airport but actually it’s great! Only Bangkok Airlines flies from there twice a day. They have plenty of staff so it takes only a moment to check in and go through security. They were surprisingly thorough with security though, but it took no time, really. At the gate there are comfy, wide wooden chairs and they have free catering! Free muffin, pastry, popcorn and drinks (coffee, water, juice). They have lots of fans to cool down the place. They are super lovely as well!
Cutest airport I've seen. Really small but well maintained airport. The staffs are really professional and kind. Hospitality is top notch. We had unlimited snacks when waiting for the flight. They have transport services to and from the airport to piers and other places nearby.

The airport is great and outdoors. Not very busy and most staff is super friendly. BUT! Do not go to the lounge. It’s a terrible place with rude and slow service, bad choice of drinks and food. Check the lounges google reviews. Very bad. Better buy outside the lounge from the kiosk. The kiosk is well equipped, good prices and friendly employees. The lounge is a massive joke!
This airport is truly amazing. It's charming and small, and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Visiting the airport is like going back in time, and it has always been a landmark for us when visiting the Trat area. It consists almost entirely of small buildings looking kind of like Bungalows, but it has all the amenities you would expect at an airport. There is only one gate, and you can see most of the runway and airport from the departure/arrival hall, it's really cool 😊 When waiting in the departure hall you get complimentary water and snacks 👌 Not all of the airport is air conditioned, but there are areas and lounges that have air conditioning (the arrival/departure hall only has fans).
